Hubino does not spam or sell/lease its user information to third parties.
This Privacy Policy covers Hubino's treatment of personally identifiable information that Hubino collects when you are on the Hubino site, and when you use Hubino's services. This policy also covers Hubino's treatment of any personally identifiable information that Hubino's business partners share with Hubino. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Hubino does not own or control, or to people that Hubino does not employ or manage.
Personal Information Collected by Hubino
ONLINE REGISTRATION:
In order to become a Hubino member, you must first create a member account on Hubino by providing information about yourself including but not limited to name, email address, country, ZIP/postal code, birth date, a brief summary of yourself and a password. Hubino checks for the validity of the email addresses.
OPTIONAL PROFILE INFORMATION:
Once you provide the basic information to create an account, you will have the opportunity to provide additional information in the Profile section describing your skills, interests, professional and academic background and favorites. Provision of this additional information beyond what is required at registration is entirely optional; it allows you to better identify yourself and find new opportunities on Hubino.
RECOGNIZING YOU AS A HUBINO MEMBER:
For Hubino to recognize you as a registered member, you must login with your login email and password. Our ability to identify you as a registered member allows us to customize the Hubino experience and to protect your personal information based on your account settings.
INTERNET COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL INFORMATION:
The communication standards of the Internet industry transmit the URL of the site from which you visit Hubino, the IP address of your computer, the IP address of your ISP, various attributes of your computer such as operating system, resolution and browser software, and the date and time of your various requests for pages on Hubino. Hubino file logging system automatically logs all of this information in its log files for its analysis.
NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTIONS:
Visitors to Hubino may also sign up with their name and email address for a variety of newsletters that Hubino produces with varying frequency (e.g., News headlines) without having to register. Hubino confirms the subscription by sending an email to the email address specified before sending the newsletter.
USE OF INFORMATION BY HUBINO:
Hubino is an online website that offers a variety of services designed to connect people from around the world. The information, whether personal information of any form of self-expression is used to help you describe yourself to other users. Hubino also collects additional information in order to operate and improve our service. Smart Information Worldwide is the sole owner of the information collected on the Hubino site.
SHARING OF INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES:
Hubino takes your privacy very seriously. Hubino will never sell, rent, or otherwise provide your personally identifiable information to any third parties unless it is to carry out your instructions and to provide specific services. As an example, we send your information to a credit card processing company to process a payment you have made for the use of a Hubino service. These third parties are bound by strict confidentiality agreements which limit their use of such information and in compliance with this Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. In addition, Hubino may share your information to send direct mailers or complimentary coupons/offers to a mailing agency to process postal mailing. Again, such an agency would be bound by strict confidentiality agreements that limit their use of such information. We do not exercise control over the sites displayed as search results or links from within our various services. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you.
EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS:
Hubino generally communicates with you as a registered member of Hubino through the primary email that you have specified at the time of registration. This is also used as the login text string in conjunction with the password to authenticate you on the Hubino site. Your email and password are never shared with anybody within or outside Hubino. Hubino uses this email address to send you three types of communications:
Sending you emails related to the proper functioning of your account (e.g. when you receive a response to a classified you have posted on Hubino or when you receive an invitation to join the personal network of another person)
Sending you newsletters that you have subscribed to
Sending you occasional announcements about changes in Hubino's policies or promotions introduction of new services
Please note that these email communications may contain commercial messages of advertisers; however, Hubino does not provide your personal information or emails to any of the advertisers; we just include the advertising banners they provide us in the emails that we send. As always you can opt out of the newsletters or promotional announcements.
PARTNERING WITH OTHERS:
Hubino may partner with other online services to offer a combined service. Whenever we offer such combined services, Hubino will make it clear who the partner is and it will be entirely up to you to use or not to use the service. Where any personal information is passed along to the partner you will be informed prior to that sharing and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
PROVISION OF AGGREGATE DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES:
Hubino reserves the right to provide aggregate demographic information of its member base to advertisers and others so as to attract pertinent advertisers to advertise on Hubino. We do not share personal information of individual users with advertisers.
COMMUNICATIONS TO OTHERS FROM YOU THROUGH HUBINO:
You will be able to send emails to others -- members and non-members -- through the Hubino system. In these instances, these emails will list your name and email address in the header of the message. The recipients of these emails initiated by you will get to know your name and email address. Hubino is not responsible for how these recipients use this information. Your contact information will only be shared with another member only if both of you indicated you would like to establish contact with each other.
COMMUNICATIONS FROM OTHERS TO YOU THROUGH HUBINO:
Only registered members of Hubino are allowed to communicate with you through Hubino through a form on Hubino. Unless and until you respond to this email, they will not get to know your email address.
DISCLOSURES REQUIRED BY LAW:
It is possible that we may need to disclose personal information when required by law. We will disclose such information wherein we have a good-faith belief that it is necessary to comply with any law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, enforce applicable terms of service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues and ensuring the security of our network and services or protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of Hubino, its users or the public as required or permitted by law or to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
INFORMATION SECURITY:
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. The use of any other service to make such a mailing or posting, with any reference to Hubino services (including but not limited to mailboxes, auto responders, and Web pages), shall also be grounds for account termination and/or other actions as described above.
Members of Hubino.com may not insult or defame the site, including any of its employees, moderators or freelancers. You may not post the contents (in part or whole) of any email that you may receive from any Hubino.com employee(s) and/or moderator.
Do not to post any material that is obscene, defamatory, humiliating, profane, libelous, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful or embarrassing towards other person(s) or an entity. We encourage a healthy exchange of opinions and disagreements. By all means challenge an opinion ? but please do it respectfully. Name-calling, insults and use of foul or abusive language will not be tolerated. This includes the use of offensive member Display Names and URLs (your personal website address on Hubino.com).
Please be sure before you divulge the details of your identity or personal information in your post(s), including photos of yourself or your family and friends. Anything posted online is accessible to the entire Internet community and Hubino.com is not liable in cases where such information is misused. Members of Hubino.com are not permitted to collect or distribute personal data concerning other members at any time.
Do not post messages more than once. This is also known as ?flooding?. Hubino.com reserves right to delete such posts and may terminate the accounts of such members.
A member of Hubino.com must not impersonate another member.
Advertising and Spamming:
Commercial messages or promotional messages from businesses or organizations are not permitted on the Network. Hubino.com provides a platform for its members to express themselves in the form of articles, columns, opinions, comments, reviews, art and photos but the website must not be used as a medium for marketing or selling to our members.
No advertising or promotion is allowed except where it is for an event, publication or similar item that has direct relevance to the subject of discussion and is non-commercial in nature. Please bear in mind that the space on the Network is for creative contributions by members and not for personal advertising or promotion(s). Information about locating and sharing knowledge and expertise is welcomed, but must have relevance to the topic on which an opinion is expressed or a discussion is initiated.
Affronts to Etiquette Unacceptable activities include spamming (sending unsolicited advertising to those with which the customer has no existing business relationship, posting off-topic advertising in newsgroups); spoofing (using a return email address which is not the valid reply address of the sender or sending an email message which does not contain enough information to enable the recipient to identify the party who is really sending the message; passive spamming (promoting a web site hosted by Webcom Systems by spamming from some other source), trolling (posting controversial messages in newsgroups to generate responses), mailbombing (inundating a user with email without any serious intent to correspond), generating a higher volume of outgoing mail than a normal user (over 10% of available system resources), and subscribing someone else to an electronic mailing list without that person's permission. Any customer repeatedly "mailbombed" or that attracts such behavior will be asked to leave.
Age: The client must be 18 years of age to obtain our service and request that children below obtain their parents' consent before providing personal information and using our service. We recommend that parents actively monitor their children's use of the Internet and the web site.
Abuse of the legal rights of others: Examples of unacceptable activities in this regard include posting private information about a person without their consent, infringing intellectual property rights, defaming a person, business, nation or community, and knowingly making available code which will have a deleterious effect on third party computers. Hubino supports free expression on the Internet, and will not suspend or cancel a customer's account simply because it disagrees with the views expressed by the customer. Where there are allegations that a customer's on-line activity has violated the legal rights of a third party, Hubino will not substitute itself for a court of law in deciding tort claims raised by the third party.
Abuse of the law: Hubino services may be used for lawful purposes only. Illegality includes but is not limited to: drug dealing; attempting without authorization to access a computer system; pirating (distributing copyrighted material in violation of copyright law, specifically MP3s, MPEG's,ROMs, and ROM emulators); gambling; schemes to defraud; trafficking in obscene material; sending a message or having content that is obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, or indecent with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass another person; threatening bodily harm or damage to individuals or groups; violating any laws existing within the jurisdiction of the Govt. of India, international treaties and convention that the Govt. of India has signed. Linking to illegal material is also prohibited and will be considered as abuse of our services and the person indulging in the same will be considered totally liable for his/her acts. On finding this we will discontinue the services immediately and inform the same to the Law enforcement agencies to take care of the situation. This will not arise any liability on Hubino or any of its associates, partners or proprietor.
Hubino reserves the right to check system files, email, and other data on our servers for illegal content and materials, or for any other reasons deemed necessary.
Pornography: Pornography and sex-related merchandising, or links to such material, even if legal, is not an acceptable use of Hubino's servers.
Abuse of Hubino's Server Resources: Running programs in the background on a Hubino's server without its prior written authorization, or running chat rooms, Internet Relay Chat, IRC bots, Greeting Cards sites, software downloading sites, more then 1000 emails a day and the like are not acceptable uses of Hubino's servers. Further, any usage of ten percent (10%) or more of our system resources is an undue burden on our system and is unacceptable. If your usage ever exceeds ten percent (10%) of system resources, your account may be terminated immediately and without prior notice. In addition any domain that exceeds ten gigabytes of bandwidth traffic can be terminated without prior notice. Usage of scripts or other utilities to direct pointed domain names to subdirectories is not permitted and is grounds for termination of the account.
Hacking/Cracking: Hubino reserves the right to report illegal activities to any and all regulatory, administrative, and/or governmental authorities for prosecution.
Do not post chain letters, promote pyramid schemes or recruit members for any "network marketing" or "multilevel marketing" businesses.
Do not recruit members to join another website forum or chat group, whether personal or otherwise. If you have a suggestion for a new forum, please contact us or send your queries to member relations.

However, overt promotion of, or inappropriate links to other known commercial websites on any forum are not permitted and will be removed. Copyrighted Material:
Uploading copies of copyrighted material as a whole or in part on Hubino.com without explicit permission from the copyright owner shall be deemed to infringe on the copyright and this applies to materials such as text, images, music, movies, games, and other software in digital and analog format. Hubino.com reserves the right to immediately delete such material without prior permission/consultation from the member. Safety Guidelines:
Hubino.com is always reaching out to a wider audience by showcasing the best of our member contributions. However, in doing so, we will not allow to be uploaded anything on the site that we think could be potentially endangering or is inflammatory or embarrassing to our members. It also helps members to be aware of certain things in the interest of their safety.
All members are responsible for the safety of their personal information. We recommend that members do not disclose their names, addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers or other personal information online.
All members need to be aware that when they upload their photos to the site, the photos are not only visible to the entire internet community but can also be downloaded, since any image that can be displayed on a computer screen can be saved by the person viewing it. It is technically not possible to prevent this and hence Hubino.com cannot be held liable in such cases. If you are worried about someone else viewing or saving your images then please do not submit them.

The date and time of the alleged violation, including the time zone or offset from GMT
Evidence of the alleged violation
E-mail with full header information provides all of the above, as do system log files. Other situations will require different methods of providing the above information. Hubino may take any one or more of the following actions in response to complaints:
Issue written or verbal warnings
Suspend the Member's newsgroup posting privileges
Suspend the Member's account
Terminate the Member's account
Bill the Member for administrative costs and/or reactivation charges
Bring legal action to enjoin violations and/or to collect damages, if any, cause by violations
REVISIONS TO THIS ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Hubino reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify this Policy on Abuse, Terms of Service and our other policies and agreements at any time and in any manner. Notice of any revision, amendment, or modification will be posted in accordance with our Terms of Service.
